Brainstorming ideas for creating your presentation

The theme of the 6th Korea-Japan Global Presentation Competition is “Global Citizenship and Leadership.”  We would like to introduce some tips for dealing with this theme as follows: 

1. Decide on the viewpoint and sub-theme you will focus on for the competition theme by thinking about what interests you and what things you have learnt via news, books etc. 　

E.g. Globalization for my own country /  Education / Japan-Korea relations  / Cultural relations / Environment / Economy / Sport 

2. Delve deep into the topic and sub-theme rather than presenting general opinions 

3. Expand with logical arguments, relevant material and real-world examples 

4. Be creative! What may seem unrealistic at first glance can become possible if you logically explain how to make it a reality. 

If you pass the qualifying round, you can have brush-up sessions before the final round with instructors who have expertise in presentation skill training.  Useful advice will be given such as how to make appropriate gestures or eye-contact during the presentation, which you may not be aware of yourself.  Through the sessions, you can further improve your presentation skills.
